Hey there! I'm Sarah, the little mama and creative face behind Kitchen Verve.
Growing up, I learned the importance of slowing down while spending time with my mom in the kitchen. Many of her days off were spent canning preserves, baking comfy betties and crisps, whipping up huge batches of soup for canning, and baking gorgeous, irresistible cakes.
Through her, I learned to savor the art of cooking and enjoy each step of the process. As a mom myself, I love savoring the art of cooking and enjoying each step of the process with my own little sous-chef.
I spent a lot of my twenties behind the counter of coffee shops and cafes, falling in love with the ins and outs of their cozy atmospheres. At Kitchen Verve, you'll find tons of rustic, bakery-worthy recipes and tips to help bring that cafe warmth home to your kitchen.
In my free time you can probably find me out walking around, scurrying around my kitchen, paddling my kayak, or tucked away somewhere quiet with a cup of coffee and a good book. I prefer savory to sweet, but I'm a baker at heart.
